Amazing. I have never tried them like this but I want to get them started early. What I read is how easy they are to rot-do you have a problem with this in the bags? I plan on copying your set-up and using a heat mat. I would be starting with dormant bulbs, will they take off like this from dormancy? Thank you.

Did you plant the bulbs only in coconut coir or did you mix it in soil? I wanted to plant bulbs in coconut coir only and then fertilize it with the appropriate nutrients. I would rather grow it without soil. Thank you!

Put some sticks around the pot then cover it with plastic and a few holes at the top to keep humidity on and have it by the sunniest window in your house.

I've just received my seeds 51 days after I ordered them from Sri Lanka, at the moment,the 4 seeds have been soaking in water since yesterday morning,all four seeds sunk to bottom so they are still viable. I'll plant them this morning & I'm not sure if Autumn is the best season to plant them as it's Autumn in Australia now !!!!

I threw them out in the yard and covered the Jackfruit seeds with mulch. There are currently 25 trees in my yard about 3 feet tall. Same thing with mango, guava, longan, and lychee . I,m in Florida near Ocala. Where are you located, and how are your trees now?They may be producing by now.

For the vast majority, it is much better to grow Dragon Fruit from a cutting of a good named variety. Growing from seed can be a crapshoot, you do not know if your seedling will produce good tasting fruit plus it going to take 2 - 3 more years to get to fruit producing size.
ricshaw805 it is worth the wait. If I extract seeds from good fruit to begin with, the fruit I grow from my cactus should be the same😊 I grow this plant all the time & it is SUPER EASY. I am uploading a video Friday which my method ALWAYS a SUCCESS 😊😊
